Hypno for Teenagers

Hypno4Children uses a brilliant combination of Solution Focused therapy,  hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and Coaching to help your teenager. I use the MINDHACK system which helps your teen to identify what is overwhelming them and the triggers causing them to feel the way they do. They will learn about how their brain is working, the subconscious and conscious mind, the stress response and how our minds can sometimes react to things in the same way, whether they are real and happening now, remembered from the past or imagined in the future. I will help them set the goals they want to achieve and introduce them to a variety of resources they can use in their internal wellbeing toolbox which include some useful techniques to help them keep calm and stay in control. The wellbeing toolbox they create will stay with them for the rest of their lives, helping them surf those challenging waves that come and go in adulthood.

 This a shared journey for you, your child, and your therapist with varied outcomes. It is so important that everyone is on board. I encourage an initial short chat either on the phone or by zoom to go over what the therapy sessions will involve and how you can help and support your older child or teen through this process.

 For older children up to the age of 14 it is recommended that a parent/adult remain present during the sessions, however, there is a waiting room for those to wait during sessions if this is preferred and everyone is comfortable.

On average older children and teens require between 3 and 6 sessions but this can vary. Sessions generally last between 50 minutes to an hour.
